Conquering emotional healing gracefully

My dear friend Faith made this beautiful gift for me with fabric from Laos. She said it represents MANY COLORS OF CHRIST! I will forever cherish it in my heart.

                                                                              The Many Colors Of Jesus

We live in a world of disagreement about the skin tone of Jesus, and everyone should be respected to see Jesus in whatever unique,

beautiful skin tone one chooses. But I challenge you to explore Jesus of many colors because the Love of Jesus transcends all skin tones.

The color of Jesus is Kindness    The color of Jesus is Truth    The color of Jesus is Faith     The color of Jesus is Forgiveness

The color of Jesus is Patience     The color of Jesus is Humility     The color of Jesus is Atonement    The color of Jesus is Hope

The color of Jesus is Sovereign   The color of Jesus is Peace    The color of Jesus is Unconditional Love

The color of Jesus is SALVATION

If you do not receive Him into your heart as Lord and Savior, does skin really matter? If you are not worshiping him in Spirit and in Truth,

does skin really matter? If you are not imitating His morals, integrity and characteristics does skin really matter? Our skin is just colored tents

over our spiritual being and in the end, flesh will not secure our Salvation. The love of Jesus transcends all skin tones! God said if you believe

in His Son, you shall have everlasting life John 3:16 , not if you believe in a skin tone!

The color of Jesus is so much more! What color is Jesus to you?

Pour into yourself and others

Together with my siblings, we started a nonprofit in Kansas City, Kansas called " Helping Hands Center of Hope (HHCH). We provide lunches, hygiene products, worship materials, resources to help with challenging living arrangements and other necessities to those in need within the community. We've also partnered with inner city schools to assist children and their families filling in where we can.  I'm learning that the more I'm blessed to overcome in life the more I can help, share and listen to others.

Starting the day off with a little exercise is refreshing and I love the water.

Divine Guidance

Lessons of Life: Things I've Learned, Moments I Cherish.

No one knows your walk, your challenges or the darkness you endured before surrendering. If you haven't already, please read fork in the road and check out one of my favorite songs Alabaster Box. Let nothing or no one cause you to go backwards into that dark space.

As I journey through each day, I’m reminded that it has already been filtered through the hands of God. He knows the beginning, the end, and the outcome of each event that will take place each day. I’m asking that He align my heart according to His will and to lead me with His wisdom and guidance. When you ask, remember His Spirit won't interfere when we try forcing our own path My goal is to be intentional about letting His gentle spirit lead me. What about you?

You have a God given right and responsibility to protect your peace. For some it's harder when you are surrounded by the darkness of others within the home. Make time to surround yourself with positive Godly influence. Self care is important and it's not selfish, however, without relying on the Spirit of God it will only be temporal. He will give you the strength and peace you need in the midst of darkness (Philippians 4:7)

                                               I am enough!

Spite of what the world, spouses, family, friends or co workers say, know your worth! After discernment and self assessment and you know you are being a good mother, wife, child, sibling, coworker and most of all an ambassador of Christ don't let the contentious spirit inside others break your worth. Stop trying to live up to high expectations placed on you by others when they aren't even living up to them, themselves.

Love one another unconditionally as much as you can while there is still breath in the body. Death is touching so many families even my own and I’m so blessed to have the foundation and love we have together with no regrets; but good memories to get us through times of grief. So many people cut off one another for the smallest reasons and are left with nothing but regrets when you hear of their passing. Mom always said to give people their flowers while they are here. Flowers could mean a simple call, facetime, text, a simple apology, etc... Even if it's not returned, you will have peace knowing you did what God expected of you. Don’t be left with what you wish you could have done when you have the opportunity to do it now. Let it go and simply Love one another. Can we really say we  know God and not love. God is Love!
