In the midst of my new journey I've earned an Associates of Arts in Religion and a Associates of Arts in Christian Counseling from Liberty University. I've completed training as a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, received certification/training in Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing to provide help to adults and youth experiencing mental health or substance use challenges and I'm a Child abuse and Neglect Mandated Reporter

This degree combines the principles of psychology with the teachings of Christianity, allowing an individual to take a holistic approach to counseling. I can address clients' psychological issues while also incorporating spiritual and biblical principles into their healing process, depending on the couples preference. My goal is to meet everyone where they are! Both degrees prepare an individual to provide spiritual guidance to individuals who may be struggling with their faith or facing spiritual challenges. You can help them find meaning and purpose in their lives, using biblical teachings as a foundation. 3. Understanding of Human Behavior: Studying psychology will give you a deep understanding of human behavior and the factors that influence it. This knowledge will be valuable when working with individuals or couples dealing with mental health issues, substance abuse, or other challenges.

The purpose of mental health first aid is to promote early intervention and prevention strategies while providing support and assistance to those experiencing a mental health issues. The training educates in how to recognize signs and symptoms in both youth and adults and to offer non-judgmental support while guiding individuals towards appropriate professional help if needed.

Prepare Enriched Facilitator Certification
A mandated reported recognizes signs of child abuse or neglect such as emotional, physical, sexual abuse and is responsible for reporting to appropriate authorities.

Prepare Enrichment is designed to help couples by providing them with tools and resources to strengthen their relationships. Facilitators help with discussions and activities that promote effective communication, conflict resolution, and understanding between partners. The ultimate goal is to equip couples with the skills and knowledge needed to build a strong foundation for successful and fulfilling relationships.
